Aerobic System Alarms

There are two alarms which are designated by red and amber (yellow) colored bulbs. Red represents a high water alarm (HWA). Yellow represents an aeration alarm (COMP). For each alarm light there is a corresponding audible alarm which can be muted.

High Water (Red) Alarm

  1. Locate the HWA switch on side of panel and toggle to mute/ middle position.
  2. Check to see if sprinklers are spraying. Yes, go to #3. No, go to #4
  3. Stop using water or turn off running toilet or faucet and allow water level in tank to drop below alarm level. After light turns off, toggle HWA switch back to run/up position
  4. Reset circuit breaker in control panel labeled pump. Check to see if sprinklers are spraying. Yes, go to #5. No, go to #6
  5. Allow the water level in tank to drop below alarm level. After light turns off, toggle HWA switch back to run/up position.
  6. If alarm persists, conserve water and call our office at (405) 373-1540. You generally have 12 hours to get service. Please note if you have any standing water around tank or coming from lines/sprinkler heads or if your toilets are “gurgling” or will not flush.

  4. Reset circuit breaker in control panel labeled comp. Check if compressor is running by placing hand on compressor to feel for vibration. Yes, go to #5. No, go to #6.
  5. After light turns off, toggle COMP switch back to run/up position.
  6. If the alarm persists or both alarms are on, contact us at (405) 373-1540.
