About Our Team
Michael and Dawn Rohrs grew up in Northern Oklahoma. They worked in Houston, TX for 10 years in the oil industry. In 2014, Dawn requested to move back to Oklahoma City, OK to be closer to their families.
However, after the oil downturn in 2015/16, the couple decided it was time to diversify. They started Cyclone Septics with just one excavator and installed 11 septic systems that first year. In 2018, they started pumping systems, and expanded to manufacturing in 2019. They were installing nearly 200 systems per year by 2020.

For Cyclone Septics, consumer education is paramount to improving the wastewater industry and protecting the environment. That’s why Dawn is on the Oklahoma Onsite Wastewater Association Board and trains installers, Realtors, homeowners, and builders.

We have over 20 years of combined experience at Cyclone Septics, but a lot of installers have experience. In fact, there are some who have been doing this a lot longer than we have.
However, we know wastewater disposal inside and out. Not only is our owner a DEQ-certified installer, but Dawn is also a DEQ-certified soil profiler, a DHS-licensed sanitarian, a DHS-licensed environmental specialist, and a chemical engineer.
Those are the kind of credentials that just can’t be matched. Plus, Dawn’s extremely hands-on! She’s available to work with you pre-construction so you can avoid any pitfalls. She’s always happy to be present for meetings you may have planned during your construction process.
