Septic Service Technician

Guthrie, OK | $18-$25/hr

Cyclone Septic & Plumbing is looking for a Service Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial septic systems throughout central Oklahoma.

We’re looking for someone who pays attention to details, thinks critically, and enjoys diagnosing problems. The best technicians are naturally curious and don’t stop at the first answer.

Previous septic experience is preferred, but it isn’t required. We can teach septic systems. What we’re looking for is someone with strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.

If you’ve worked in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, irrigation, industrial maintenance, agriculture, construction, automotive repair, or a similar field, you’ll probably fit right in.

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect residential and commercial septic systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose system failures
  • Repair pumps, aerators, floats, control panels, and related components
  • Perform routine maintenance and service visits
  • Conduct system inspections and complete required reports
  • Read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot basic electrical systems
  • Identify root causes of system failures and recommend solutions
  • Communicate findings and repair options to customers
  • Follow Oklahoma DEQ regulations and company procedures
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized
