Cyclone Advantage Membership & Septilink Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all Cyclone Advantage membership plans and Septilink monitoring services provided by Cyclone Septic & Plumbing (“Cyclone,” “we,” “us”).

By enrolling, the customer (“you”) agrees to the following terms.

  1. Membership Overview
  • Cyclone Advantage and Septilink are service membership programs, not insurance policies.
  • Membership benefits apply only while the account is active and in good standing.
  • Memberships apply to one property address only and are not transferable to a different address.
  • Services are provided within Cyclone’s designated service area and subject to availability.
  1. Billing Frequency & Commitment

Cyclone offers billing options for customer convenience.

Important:

  • All billing options represent a 12-month membership commitment.
  • Monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual billing are installment payment options, not short-term or trial memberships.
  • Memberships are not sold on a month-to-month basis, regardless of billing frequency.
  1. No Trial Memberships / Abuse Prevention
  • Memberships are not trial programs.
  • Enrollment for the purpose of obtaining one-time, discounted, waived, or included services followed by early cancellation is prohibited.
  • Cyclone reserves the right to deny enrollment, delay benefits, or terminate memberships if misuse or abuse is suspected.
  1. Inspections & Preventive Maintenance

Inspection frequency is determined by system type and plan level:

  • Aerobic systems typically require two inspections per year.
  • Conventional systems typically include one inspection per year.
  • Inspections must be completed to maintain benefit eligibility.

Failure to allow or complete required inspections may result in suspension of certain membership benefits.

  1. Benefit Activation & Waiting Periods

To prevent misuse and ensure fair application of benefits:

  • Member pricing, discounts, and waived dispatch fees become active after the first scheduled inspection is completed, unless otherwise required by law.
  • Preventive pumping (when included) is not eligible until:
    • the membership has been active for at least 90 days, and
    • required inspections have been completed.
  • Priority or same-day scheduling is subject to availability and does not override emergency triage protocols.

Cyclone reserves the right to delay or deny benefits if enrollment appears intended for short-term gain.

  1. Preventive Pumping (When Included)

Preventive pumping is included only where explicitly stated in the selected plan.

Preventive pumping:

  • Is performed only when recommended by a Cyclone technician
  • Is based on measured sludge and scum levels observed during a scheduled inspection
  • Is limited to one occurrence per membership year, unless otherwise stated
  • Requires the tank has been pumped by Cyclone within 30-days prior plan start

Preventive pumping does not apply to pumping required due to:

  • System failure or component malfunction
  • Hydraulic overload, flooding, or excessive rainfall
  • Groundwater intrusion
  • Improper use, neglect, or abuse
  • Delayed reporting of alarms or system issues

Emergency or failure-related pumping is not included and will be billed separately.

  1. Dispatch Fees, Scheduling & Priority Service
  • “Waived dispatch fee” applies only to services covered under the active plan.
  • Septilink dispatch fee waivers apply only to alarm-related service calls.
  • “Priority scheduling” means members are scheduled ahead of non-members, but does not guarantee same-day service unless explicitly stated.
  • Same-day scheduling is subject to time of service call, technician availability and operational conditions.
  1. Emergency Service & Member Pricing
  • Emergency service discounts and member pricing apply only to eligible services.
  • Discounts do not apply to:
    • third-party costs
    • permits or inspections by authorities
    • specialty materials
    • uncovered or excluded repairs
  • “Best available member pricing” reflects Cyclone’s pricing structure and may vary by service type.
  1. Septilink Monitoring Service

Septilink is a monitoring-only service and does not replace maintenance or inspections.

Septilink includes:

  • 24/7 system monitoring
  • Email and phone alerts for qualifying alarm conditions
  • Priority response for alarm-related issues
  • Alarm-related dispatch fee waiver (when applicable)

Septilink does not include:

  • Required inspections
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Repairs or replacement parts
  • Compliance services

Septilink monitoring does not replace required inspections or maintenance plans.

  1. Add-On Services

Optional add-on services (including plumbing coverage, water metering, or disinfection alarms):

  • Are billed separately
  • Are subject to system compatibility and availability
  • May require additional equipment or installation fees
  • Do not modify base plan benefits unless explicitly stated
  1. Exclusions & Limitations

Memberships do not cover:

  • Pre-existing system deficiencies identified at enrollment
  • Repairs caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Damage due to flooding, weather events, or acts of God
  • Electrical issues outside the septic system
  • Customer-installed or third-party equipment not approved by Cyclone
  1. Early Cancellation & Cost Recovery

If a membership is canceled before completion of the 12-month term, Cyclone may recover the value of services already provided.

This may include:

  • Inspections performed
  • Dispatch fees waived
  • Discounts applied
  • Preventive pumping performed
  • Equipment or monitoring discounts provided

Recovered amounts may be deducted from any refund or billed separately if necessary.  Recovered amounts may be enforced using a mechanical lien.

This applies regardless of billing frequency.

  1. Transferability
  • Memberships may be transferred to a new homeowner at the same property address upon request.
  • Transfers are subject to approval and inspection verification.
  1. Pricing & Renewal Changes
  • Cyclone reserves the right to adjust pricing or benefits at renewal.
  • Continued membership after renewal constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
  1. Authority & Interpretation
  • Final determination of service eligibility, pumping necessity, and benefit applicability rests with Cyclone.
  • These Terms clarify services and do not limit statutory rights where prohibited by law.
