Conventional Septic Systems Types

Conventional septic systems have been used for years, and they’re a reliable and affordable way to manage your wastewater. These systems fall into two categories:

  • Conventional subsurface absorption (indicated as CSA on your soil profile)
  • Evapotranspiration absorption (ETA)

These systems are installed with chambers or rock and pipe.  You will need a soil profile to get an accurate quote.

These folks are great! We had them install a new conventional septic system on a new construction home. They know what they are doing, are great and responsive communicators, have nice and knowledgeable installers, and are great about following up.

What Makes a Good Area for a Conventional Septic System?

  • Good, deep soil free of limiters like rock or ground water down to at least 48″
  • A level or gently sloping area to install the drain field in
  • Area must be free of trees or brush with grass
  • No vehicle traffic or future construction plans

Poly Tank Systems

At Cyclone Septics, we usually recommend concrete tanks because they’re so durable. However, if you have an area that can’t be accessed by truck, we do have alternatives. Choose a plastic poly tank for your septic solutions!
